Me: Jeremy Nacewicz
Technical field of study: Civil Engineering
Formal training or qualifications in the field of biochemistry, biology, medicine, nutrition: None.
At some point I would like to go back to school, likely for a medical degree. However:
A) I like the freedom to learn about what I want to when I want to, and the freedom to go off on learning tangents, sometimes very long ones (I’ve got like 150 articles open in my multiple sessions of my pdf reader, and I often find 5-6 more for every one I finish). I like to keep things relevant – when someone I know is afflicted with some illness or condition, it’s good motivation to learn what I can about it, and question what other factors my be involved.
B) I’m in debt enough already, and just can’t see digging our family deeper in debt at the current moment. Maybe someday in the future.
C) In which direction? There are a lot of interesting paths, not sure which I would choose at this point.
